Reform & Re-Evangelising England

Do you long for the people of England to turn back to the Lord?

Are you concerned by the moral and doctrinal drift of the Church of England?

If the answer’s ‘yes’ to both these questions, then let me ask you another question:

Are you a member of Reform?

Reform connects those opening two questions. Established in 1993, Reform is a network of individuals and churches promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ by reforming the Church of England.

Reform has recently launched a very short recruitment campaign. Before the General Synod of the Church of England meets in three weeks’ time, they want to dramatically increase their membership to show that Bible-believing Christians make up more than a tiny minority in the Church of England. For that to happen they need many of us at Emmanuel to sign up. We can do so here:

Can I encourage each one of us to prayerfully consider joining Reform? It is an excellent network and is led by godly Trustees and Council members.

Please pray that Reform would recruit many new members, including from among us at Emmanuel.

Please pray that this would not just be a numbers game, but a way of bringing together like-minded people in order to encourage gospel work throughout the nation. And let’s pray that through a renewed and reformed Church of England, this nation would once again hear and believe the gospel of Christ.

If you’re free, do join me at the Reform National Prayer Meeting at 5pm on Wednesday 9th July at St Botolph's, Aldersgate.
